  • Valid procedures with data for the key variable ‘diagnosis group’ in the ‘Diagnosis Form’ are considered Procedures with Diagnosis.
  • Consult Audit 2025 to know data completeness for the Oncology Subprocess.

Follow-Up Form

  • In this 2025-year report, follow-up data and follow-up extension of procedures performed before 31-12-2024 are evaluated.

Follow-Up Data

Warning
  • Valid procedures with information for all the key variables (‘recurrence’, ‘last oncologic status’, ‘date of last oncologic status’) are considered as Procedures with Follow-up.
  • The percentage of procedures with follow-up could be lower than 100% if there are diseases other than lung cancer. The percentage of lung procedures performed for lung cancer in ReSECT is 87 %.

Follow-Up Extension

Warning
  • Follow-up extension is define as the time elapsed from the date of surgery to the latest follow-up date.
  • Follow-up extension should be interpreted together with the delay in recruitment of procedures performed before 31-12-2024, which is provided in the audit section of this project. In fact, longer time to follow-up may reflect continuously updated follow-up but also inadequate late recruitment.
  • Follow-up extension is only evaluated for procedures with diagnosis group of Primary Cancer. If follow-up does not exist the extension of time considered will be 0 days.
